A fancy text generator turns ordinary letters into look-alike Unicode characters — 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝, 𝓼𝓬𝓻𝓲𝓹𝓽, 𝔣𝔯𝔞𝔨𝔱𝔲𝔯, Ⓑⓤⓑⓑⓛⓔ and more — so the styled text can be pasted where fonts cannot be changed. Type below and FancyTextTool shows your words in 25 styles, each ready to copy.
Every row updates as you type; tap a row to copy it. Last checked: 12 October 2026 — styles built from the Unicode 17.0 Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols, Enclosed Alphanumerics and other blocks. How each style displays on every device has not been tested yet; see where fancy text works below.
Add a frame around your fancy text
Styled letters look best with a small frame. Type a word here to see it in bold, italic or script inside sixteen ready-made frames.
How fancy text works
Fancy text does not change the font. It replaces each letter with a different character that happens to look like a styled version of it. 𝐀 is not a bold A: it is MATHEMATICAL BOLD CAPITAL A (U+1D400), a separate symbol added to Unicode in 2001 for maths writing. Because it is a real character, it keeps its look when pasted anywhere — and that is also why some places treat it differently from a normal A.

| Symbol | Unicode name | Code point | HTML entity | Added in |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 𝐀 | Mathematical Bold Capital A (bold) | U+1D400 | 𝐀 | Unicode 3.1 |
| 𝐴 | Mathematical Italic Capital A (italic) | U+1D434 | 𝐴 | Unicode 3.1 |
| 𝒜 | Mathematical Script Capital A (script) | U+1D49C | 𝒜 | Unicode 3.1 |
| 𝔄 | Mathematical Fraktur Capital A (fraktur) | U+1D504 | 𝔄 | Unicode 3.1 |
| 𝔸 | Mathematical Double-struck Capital A (double-struck) | U+1D538 | 𝔸 | Unicode 3.1 |
| 𝙰 | Mathematical Monospace Capital A (monospace) | U+1D670 | 𝙰 | Unicode 3.1 |
| Ⓐ | Circled Latin Capital Letter A (bubble) | U+24B6 | Ⓐ | Unicode 1.1 |
| 🅰 | Negative Squared Latin Capital Letter A (black squared) | U+1F170 | 🅰 | Unicode 6.0 |
| A | Fullwidth Latin Capital Letter A (wide) | U+FF21 | A | Unicode 1.1 |
| ᴀ | Latin Letter Small Capital A (small caps) | U+1D00 | ᴀ | Unicode 4.0 |
Some styles have gaps. The script alphabet borrows ℬ ℰ ℱ ℋ ℐ ℒ ℳ ℛ from an older block because those letters existed before the maths set, and the gothic alphabet does the same with ℭ ℌ ℑ ℜ ℨ — the converter fills them in automatically so every word looks complete.
Where fancy text works — and where it breaks

| Where you paste it | Works? | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Instagram bio and name, TikTok display name, Discord display name | Yes | The most common use. Usernames (@handles) refuse it. |
| Captions, comments, chat messages | Yes | Shows as long as the reader’s device has the characters; maths letters are widely supported. |
| Usernames, emails, passwords | No | These accept plain letters only. |
| Screen readers | Poorly | Many read each letter by its Unicode name or skip it, so a styled name can be unreadable for blind users. |
| Search and hashtags | Poorly | A search for “love” may not find 𝓁𝑜𝓋𝑒, and a hashtag in fancy letters is a different tag. |
| Games | Varies | Many name fields count styled letters double or block them — see nickname symbols. |
A good rule: use fancy letters for decoration — a name, a short bio line — and keep important information in plain text.
Alone stylish name
“Alone” names are quiet, moody display names. These are built with the converter above plus a single mood symbol; type your own word in the box to make more.
Lovely girl stylish name
Soft script letters with a bow, flower or heart are the usual “lovely girl” look. Copy one or swap in your own name with the presets above.
Fancy text on WhatsApp
WhatsApp has its own formatting that is not fancy text: wrap words in *asterisks* for bold, _underscores_ for italic, ~tildes~ for strikethrough and “`three backticks“` for monospace. That formatting only shows inside WhatsApp. Fancy letters from this page, by contrast, look the same in any app because they are different characters.
Can fancy text have colour?
No. Unicode characters carry shape, not colour, so a “blue fancy text generator” cannot exist in plain text — the colour always comes from the app or the reader’s theme. The closest thing is pairing styled letters with coloured emoji such as 💙 or 🔵.

Fancy text questions
Is fancy text a font?
No. It is a set of Unicode characters that look like styled letters. That is why it can be pasted into apps that do not let you choose a font.
Why do some styles show boxes?
The device has no font for that block. Maths letters are supported almost everywhere; black squared and parenthesized letters are missing more often on older phones.
Is fancy text safe to use?
Yes for names and bios. Avoid it for anything people must search, read aloud or type back, such as usernames, links and contact details.
